From small gatherings to virtual events and contests, there is something for everyone at this year’s Oktoberfest celebration! Opening ceremonies are on September 24th and will be live-streamed on CTV to watch from home. Then, get your festival on at one of our region’s “Micro-Festhallen” this year. Participating venues will feature live Oktoberfest entertainment, food specials and beer pairings from September 24 – October 11.

Get the kids involved right from the comfort of your own home. Tune into KWO LIVE@HOME for a fun and interactive virtual event on Saturday, October 9th. The event will feature Oktoberfest-themed entertainment for the whole family!

While you’re celebrating, don’t forget to support one of the most important events at this festival, the Onkel Hans Food Drive. Because there is no in-person parade this year, you can make your donation online directly to the Food Bank of Waterloo Region.
