Sun rays peeking through the trees, open fields, and glistening snow – it’s time to get back to nature! Enjoy scenic views at Laurel Creek Conservation Area on a winter hike. This 4.5-kilometre trail will take you through pinewood paths and open fields for a look at winter’s beauty. Bring a mini tripod with you to take family pictures with a beautiful background!

Take your love for winter activities even further. Hit the slopes at Chicopee Ski & Summer Resort – you can even take lessons while you’re there. If you’re new to skiing or snowboarding, you can register for their snow school program to learn from a trained and certified snow school instructor. If skiing isn’t your jam, head to Chicopee Tube Park to experience the adrenaline rush of racing down slippery slopes as a family.

Playing with clay is fun for all ages. The Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery organizes at-home programs for all age groups in Waterloo. You can purchase a Claytime at Home Kit where you and your little ones can explore the world of clay! Indulge in the artwork of clay moulding to create personalized art pieces right in the comfort of your own home.
This is a great opportunity for kids to express their creativity. Try making something that they can use in everyday life, such as a mug for breakfast milk, a plate for their snacks, or an art frame. celebrate at the kitchener market
On Monday, February 21, 2022, Kitchener Market is celebrating Family Day with live music on the piazza. Bring your skates to enjoy skating on a synthetic ice rink with free hot chocolate. After a good exercise at the rink, head to the fresh donut counter by Chef D from ChefD TV for some refreshments.
