It’s that time of year where the leaves start to change colour, the air gets a little crisper, and we embrace cozy sweaters, warm beverages, and the spirit of giving!
This season, Activa is proud to continue our long history of supporting The Food Bank of Waterloo Region. Our team will be collecting food donations from Wednesday, September 6th – Friday, September 29th at our Head Office, Design Studio and our Sales Centres/Model Homes.
Join us in making a difference
Our team members won’t be the only ones collecting donations for the Food Drive; we’re taking it a step further and extending the invitation to our community members, homeowners, and visitors to join us in helping those in need. Can you contribute? Take a peek through your pantry to see if you have any items (non-expired) that you can donate – or next time you’re at the grocery, pick up an extra can (or two)!
The items most in need right now are:
- Canned Fruits and Vegetables
- Canned Meats and Fish
- Dry Beans and Pasta
- Hot and Cold Cereal
- Individually Packed Snacks (Granola Bars, Apple Sauce, Pudding Cups)
- Jam/Fruit Spread
- Pasta Sauce
- Peanut Butter
- Rice
** Pet-food, personal care and hygiene, and cleaning products can also be donated.
Simply visit our Design Studio or Sales Centres from September 6th – 29th to drop off your non-perishable food and personal hygiene items.

- Vista Hills Model Home: 259 Sweet Gale Street, Waterloo
