Job Title: Contracts Coordinator
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Reports To: Contracts Manager
Location: Waterloo, Ontario
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the Contracts Coordinator is primarily responsible for assisting with the contract development process and PO generation set up work in the ERP; including production, quality control, execution, and contract compliance. The Contracts Coordinator will provide support for tendering, quotes, generating documents and requested reports, and ensuring contracted vendors are meeting established requirements and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with assembly and follow up for tender, negotiation and awarding of supplier contracts, including but not limited to bid sheets and scopes of work
- Update and print scopes of work for standards and upgrades
- Assist with creation, distribution and follow up for contracts documents
- Assist with follow up post issuance of contracts, including evaluations of trade performance
- Utilize the model budgets for comparison to Quotes
- Assist Design Studio with materials availability and pricing, price books (product coding) and other support as required
- Other duties as required
Requirements
- Post-secondary school diploma or degree
- 2-3 years’ experience in contract management, preparation, or compliance or related field
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Work, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Newstar or other ERP systems will be an asset
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work self-directed in order to prioritize work to meet deadlines
