Job Title: Digital Marketing Supervisor

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Compensation: $65,000-$85,000/yr

Reports To: Marketing Manager

Location: Waterloo, Ontario

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Supervisor is responsible for supporting the growth & development of the Activa brand across digital channels. This role leads the planning, execution & optimization of digital marketing strategies that strengthen brand awareness, enhance customer experience, & support business objectives.

The Digital Marketing Supervisor supervises the Digital Marketing Specialist & works closely with internal teams, external agencies, & marketing partners to deliver integrated campaigns, maintain the organization’s digital platforms, ensuring alignment with Activa’s brand standards & strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage & supervise the work of the Digital Marketing Specialist, providing leadership & coaching to promote achievements & potential realization
  • Manage the development & implementation of digital marketing strategies that: optimize marketing effectiveness,  enhance user experience, & support major brand & product launches
  • Participate in development & production of key marketing collateral
  • Plan, write & update content for all marketing endeavours including website, email campaigns, social media posts, other marketing collateral
  • Manage the brand’s online experience & performance (activa.ca)
  • Manage the brand’s social media platforms
  • Leverage analytics & insight to drive ongoing platform optimizations
  • Develop & maintain quarterly KPI reporting on overall digital performance
  • Collect, analyze & interpret industry research & internal data to support marketing initiatives
  • Assist in the execution of various event strategies & lead the digital promotion of all public-facing events
  • Other duties as assigned within the spirit & the scope of the role.

Requirements

  • Graduated from a business, marketing, communications, digital or relevant post-secondary program
  • 5+ years of progressive digital marketing experience
  • A minimum of 3-5 years people management/supervisory experience required
  • Working knowledge of various software programs including MS Office and WordPress
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Pardot an asset
  • Professional certification in digital, SEO/SEM or analytics an asset
