When my fiancé and I were house hunting, the first home our real estate agent showed us was the homes by Activa. We saw the floorplans and instantly fell in love – we never even looked at any other houses or the layouts of other new-build homes! Our home is the right size for us since we’re just starting our family and our home will be the foundation to our new beginning. We chose a house with a large kitchen and island since we both like to cook and entertain our family and friends. Later on this year, we will be hosting our rehearsal dinner at our home and cannot wait to show it off! The island will be a great buffet for our meal and our guests will be able to flow into our open-concept great room. We both have been looking forward to our new home and are excited to finally be able to live it.

I can’t say enough about our kitchen. When we walked in, we saw our dreams come true and couldn’t stop smiling! We were like little children in a candy shop. We also upgraded and installed a copious amount of pot lights to the main floor which brings such a homey feel when you walk in. We tried to put in the right upgrades in the right places to make it feel like home for us. Our favourite part of the floor plan is the open concept. The open concept gives us more room, more time with our guests and more usable space.

The first second we saw the floorplans we fell in love with Activa. The floorplans speak to the professionalism of our customer service representative, site supervisor and everyone who helped us throughout this process. Barbara is AMAZING. She was always a phone call or an email away. Customer Service, to me, is the most crucial part of building the home. We had a little “how to” booklet which has answers to everything. It describes anything and everything we need to know about our home. Barbara made our dreams come to light. During our PDI she was giving us pointers and all the information we needed in order to be happy in our home. She always answered our questions with such poise and professionalism. With this being our first home, we both had questions and she was always there to answer them and help us grow!

In our neighbourhood, we are most excited to walk all the trails! When we would drive by our home before moving-day, we noticed all the beautiful trails and how active everyone is in the area. We can’t wait to explore!
